A simple way to share food instead of wasting it.

The Wycombe Community Fridge is a simple way to share good food instead of wasting it. Food waste is a major issue in the UK, with the average household throwing away £730 of food and drink each year. At the same time, millions are living in poverty.

We aim to bridge that gap by providing a clean and safe space, monitored daily by trained volunteers, where the community can share surplus food.

How it Works...

Take what you need

Please take just what you need for today so there is always enough for tomorrow.

Check the food

Use your senses - look and smell the food before eating it to ensure it is safe.

Wash fresh items

Wash all unpackaged foods (like fruit or veg) before consumption.
